Yep. by next week when the final tally of 2007 is added, JL will have been verified as a someone is right some of the time.

Only person I know who in 2006 said the Wii would do 20m+. I thought anywhere from 14m to 18m.

I'm going to be a bitch now, but he predicted 20m-24m. There is others that were closer then him who predicted around the same time.

i predicted 19mill by the end of the year in april, but i think John was nearer if Vgchartz is correct.

He was very close, now the key is will his 60 million sales be on the money, really the only thing keeping him back is Nintendo production, as we've seen even Wii fit is in short supply

Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

@avinash: I think its quite simple. The more people say "I doubt it. I think he must be on drugs making these predictions." the more possible the get.

Personally, I doubt it. I think he was on some sort of drugs when making that prediction.
