You should've put the entire scene. It's sad not only because of what really happened to those two, but also because you realize that Briony had to live with guilt her entire life, and the book she wrote in which she gave them a happy ending was all she could do at that point to make things 'right'. A truely depressing story.

I would choose the whole movie but this is the best scene. Anyone Saw this movie know how incridebly sad it is.

The last scene from Gattaca always gets to me but it's a mix of emotions. I'm always so happy for Vincent who got to fulfill his life long dream and so sad for Jerome who no longer has a purpose in life and kills himself.
