You know we don't actually talk about games on this website enough IMO. So I'm making a thread where you can just casually talk about games you are currently playing.

Just come in here whenever you feel like it and talk about the most current videogame you are playing.

Also if your looking for game specific threads there is an official thread for Battlefield 3, Dark Souls, Skyrim and Rage. Now go give them some support for their hard work.

I'll keep this OP updated with any official threads I come accross.

It's your MUTHAFUCKIN fault we don't talk about MUTHAFUCKIN games because we're too MUTHAFUCKIN busy looking at all the MUTHAFUCKIN funny pictures in your MUTHAFUCKIN thread!!!!

*Meditates to calm down.....*

OT:

Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Colletion: Currently playing through Ico. It's sooooo much better to play with the HD upgrade. I bought the original game last summer and  couldn't stomach the resolution quality. Can't wait until I get to SOTC.

White Knight Chronicles 2: I really like the game, but it deserves all the bad scores it gets. It has so much potential and it just throws it out a window. It's still more fun to play than FF13 though.

Gran Turismo 5: Almost a year later and I still can't stop playing it. Currently trying for gold in all the license tests, which is quite frustrating and rewarding at the same time.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

I also just picked up Alpha Protocol, Enchanted Arms,Need for Speed: Undercover and Gran Turismo 5. I'm looking forward to playing Alpha Protocol, I doubt I'll even touch the rest.

Did you pick it up for $2 on Steam?

i did seemed to good of a deal to pass up. I want to start it after i finish universe at war.

Front Mission (DS) - Excellent Turn based Strategy RPG. For anyone who is a fan of Fire Emblem or Advance Wars, and you're looking for a new game, get this one. It's port of a SNES JRPG, but on the DS it's great. There system really makes use of the two screens well. A little more in depth then Advance Wars and Fire Emblem because you have to customize your mechs a lot more then you have to equip your characters in FE, but at least if someone dies you don't have to restart the mission (you just get a reward penalty).

If you don't have a DS, find a copy of Front Mission 4 for PS2. These are the only two games which were localized in Americas.

Gears of War 3
- Addictive........ Don't get it because you won't put it down. Best Story, most polished gameplay I have ever seen in a 3rd person shooter (compared to Lost Planet and Uncharted), and so many ways to play. Only drawbacks, campaign kills/executions don't count towards execution unlocks, campaign and horde kills/executions don't count toward medal unlocks

Really? I thought those were so easy. I thought Polyphony was laughing at us, older GT's were so much harder. However overall I find GT5 an easy game. Just got to know which cars to use for the Extreme Series, and that's about it.

we do, but how many people use them? It seems like vgc has spread all the talking all over the place from forums to news post, to users walls, to game walls. They should have it all be in the forum and than just link relevant discusions to game pages.

I agree.It's a bit of a mess.But all shall change soon ^__^

playing deus ex, love the game, i love making my enemies shit their pants by blowing the brains of their mates with my silnced combat rifle.

LoL game lacks balance and has some other issues but i love it. very fun to play with friends,

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

Four Swords Anniversary: I'm surprised on how much work seems to have been put into this game! Grezzo made the game about 50% larger by incorporating bits of old 2D Zeldas, complete with the original art styles, modified the input and HUD for the DSi, and included a Single Player mode for lonely people like me. The lack of online was definitely not due to laziness.

Team Fortress 2: Finally, an online multiplayer FPS I like! There's a lot of variety, a kind community, and a strong enough emphasis on teamwork to justify having 24 people playing at a time.
