It certainly is hell won't be mine. As there would have to have a gameplay-style change for me to like it it enough.

It certainly has a chance to win it from the press, though. Not that that really means anything to me.

I am not talking in terms of graphics, but overall. I honestly think Batman Arkham City, Skyward Sword, Assassin's Creed Revelations and Super Mario 3D Land looks better  than Uncharted 3

IGN and many like it have crowned Crysis 2 the best looking game on consoles so it is gunna talk way more than few scripted Uncharted scenes to topple Crysis 2

I assume you apply the same level of criticism to all game narratives you encounter?

Naughty Dog drew inspration and modelled Uncharted from the get-go off action adventure films, pulp magazines and movie serials. Respective genres which have never exactly been held in regard as the birth place of award winning or critically acclaimed stories. What they do provide however, is popcorn entertainment.

Uncharted has arguably the best voice acting, great dialogue, great cut scenes, interesting characters and great pacing. It's less about the story itself, and more about how it is presented- in a very polished, easy to follow, engaging package.

I beleive when people mention Uncharted as having a great story, it's not the plot they're talking about per se, but rather the sum of all the storytelling and presentation parts combined, which works to flow well and keep gamers interested.

if crysis 2 is soo top then why did uncharted 3 beat battlefield 3 pc for best graphics at e3 from gametrailers and only a few site's said crysis 2 was the best looking game.. and i had that game it's those types of games that ruined this gen the gameplay on that game is appauling! i couldn't even get myself to enjoy the thing and even if crysis 2 is a better looking game then uncharted 2 it's not better looking then 3

The folks at Naught Dog are very talented and this IP has a ton of potential. I'd be surprised however if this game doesn't suffer the same fate as Gears 3. That is that the evolution of the IP, no matter how polished, will suffer score wise in comparison to previous iterations.

That being said, it may still garner enough critical acclaim to win numerous GOTY.

I haven't played it yet though, so I can't comment on how likely that is. Of course, I didn't think anybody had played it yet, from beginning to end, so maybe jumping the gun a little here?
