While some like Alan Wake should come back....unlike Sony that pumps out IPs that gamers dont care about, when MS sees a game not selling they dont bother with more.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

If any of those games were any good MS would be making them

I agree with the list outside of Crackdown and Kameo. The last one sold pretty badly compared to the first, and the first one needed a Halo 3 beta just to get purchases.

Kameo was a decent game but didn't well and I'm not sure anyone would take notice to Kameo 2 coming out many years later.

Alan Wake did pass one million units though it should have done a lot better. I hope Remedy can work out a deal for Alan Wake 2 or at least put a closure to the series via book or something. Hell I wish Sega would do that with Shenmue 3.

It's just that simple.

why do sales matter wether you want a game or not?  you are going to play the game not going to profit from it.

They don't to me, they matter to Microsoft. It's just chances would be lower for Microsoft to approve anything first part y wise that didn't sell well.

I own a lot of games that sold poorly/didn't chart. You should check out my game collection sometime. (Reminds me I gota add all the classic game system games someday).

Its unfortunate but none of those games really sold well.

Time for hype

MS doesn't know how to make good budget games. They spend a ton of money on all their games and if it doesn't sell insane amount they kill it off and in the end the gamers have far less choice and variety. MS for whatever reason is just unable to make a good game that will profit with 1M sales.

Yes they do. It's called XBLA and they make tons of profit off that. Why should MS focus on making a budget retailer game, when they could just do they same on XBLA and make much better profit? Save th budget games for XBLA and blockbuster games like Gears for retail.

A budget game on ps3 like say Demon's Souls or Folklore has far more content and are far more indepth games then XBL games. Anyone who think's otherwise is deluded. That's not saying there aren't good xbl games just that it's a whole different level and when actually looking at the great xbl games MS hasn't made any of them. In fact I can't even think of one MS made, sure they published alot of them but that doesn't mean much with digital games since several published by MS are on ps3 and there's nothing to actually publish since there are no disks being made.

Aren't there really more people upset by one of the biggest scandals in gaming, that MS killed the mighty phenomenal Age of Empires?
