I would be inclined to make a scornful comment, but one can actually say this is a case of art influencing business positively, simply because Uncharted seems to have hit just the right balance critically and is performing admirably commercially, and one can only wonder if Naughty Dog, left solely to their own creative devices, would have made something quite as successful

As ambivalent as i am towards Uncharted (which is a blanket ambivalence towards all western shooty-games of its type), one can hardly doubt its subjective excellence, even if it was influenced in a "sellout" direction

yeah since is blows uncharted out the water, how could i forget! lol

i dont find gears of war that interesting.. looks like a clunky slow game with guys on steriods lol

I think Sony was right on this one, IMHO Uncharted is the better for it, and the series still isnt gritty and it has some supernatural elements. Its like new Indiana Jones

I think it's about the fact that Uncharted stars adult humans instead of instead of cartoon mascots like they used to do with games of a similar style

Used to be things like Crash & Sly, now it's more Uncharted & inFamous

your opinion is uninteristing, halo and gow sales speak for itself if you love or hate them

bzw i love uncharted as well and uncharted 2 is one of the greatest games of all time for me.

As for Uncharted its a proven fact that all games take influences from each other sometimes more or less prefecting it but ya have to Give credit to Gears of War sony fanboys if it wouldnt have influenced Naughty Dog perhaps Uncharted could have been an FPS like yuck...... COD!!

i probably would have much preferred their original concept. i mislike uncharted.
