aww man...now us PS3 owners have nothing to gloat about :p

Well I suppose the PS3 owners can still claim the 360 is holding it back because Square wanted to save money by not having to print more discs... and somehow slight MS and some non-existent license fee in the process? Come on man! Use your imagination! I expect better from us PS3 owners.

lol, you right! damn 360 owners and cheap S-E!!! they're ruining gaming

btw, no squirtle avatar? did he evolve?

Huh. Thats some unexpected good news.

Why is it good news? I don't get why getting up twice is worse than lack of content. I would've preferred 3 discs with beautiful CGI cutscenes.

Hey im all for multiple disks if the content is there. I meant that it would lead to less trolling done by PS3 fanboys on the 360

This isn't about PS3 fanboys - this is about realising what's sensible to talk about or not.

Supposedly no cgi, now just in game scenes.

Suddenly, everybody that hated FF13 has fond memories of how awesome it was? If this new one has more of everything that you wanted and less FMV (We automatically assume), then WTF? What will it take to please people?

Multiple discs: Boo! Now I have to get up every 15 hours!
Single disc: Boo! Now I can't see all of spectacular CGI that Square never made, anyway!

If you guys were my girlfriend, I'd say, "No pussy is worth this, you bi-polar nut!" and then I'd leave you sitting in Applebee's crying into your Long Island Iced Tea. Then I'd call you later and apologize so that we can have some make up sex.

But don't you see. This is the FF fanbase. We are impossible to please nor can you ever hope to satisfy.

So.....no make up sex?

I'm lazy... so yay!!! n__n

Xbone... the new "N" word   Apparently I troll MS now | Evidence | Evidence

SE probably realised they could pump out more games if they skipped the pre-rendered stuff. And they need more games to divert attention from Versus...

my money is on re-exploring same areas over and over again.

Me thinks this game's gonna be redundant.

I was gonna say the same, I expect a few areas with major time sinks into each.  Not very appealing.

Seems to work for those who played Xenoblade. Hell i've spent over 7 hours in 1 area. >.>

Technically, every iteration is make up sex, we enjoy it at first but then hate you again shortly after.

@ Xen

Eh, I guess. The game isn't quite popular enough due to its release. Most people who have played FF games haven't bothered to touch a lot of the pre-PS1 games (speaking of US and EU of course).

Has anyone read this? http://gamergaia.com/home/gaming-news/2-news/1844-sony-attacks-microsofts-publishing-policies-.html

Basically, Microsoft has a policy which protects their inferior (as Sony put it) tech against publishers making better versions of a game on other platforms (the PS3). If the game suffers a short story time because of Xbox for PS3 users, or any other compromise such as the take away of CGI scenes, it's thanks to that dick policy.

This sums it up really, sums Microsoft up as well tbh:

"So potentially any time we've gone out and negotiated exclusive content of things that we've announced at things like DPS or E3, publishers are getting the living crap kicked out of them by Microsoft because they are doing something for the consumer that is better on our platform than it might be perceived on theirs."
