Forums - Microsoft - FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 Is One Disc On Xbox 360

I am one of the people here that excited about this game but I am having a bad feeling about this.
At first I didn't mind when they said that XIII-2 will have a shorter story than FFXIII. I have the feeling that XIII-2 will be infested with DLC that should be in the game in the first place. Anyways, I will reserve my judgement until I have the games on my hand.

CGI is a waste......Seriously If I wanted to just stare at the t.v. I'd watch a fuckin movie

+1 point more for FF 13-2 in my book

Seems really fishy or there's very little CGI videos or the game is really short compare to XIII.

Sounds good to me. It either means that...

1.) There's less of a focus on CGI and more on the ingame gfx and gameplay.

or...

2.) The game is rather short

it's a win-win.

Huh. Thats some unexpected good news.

Why is it good news? I don't get why getting up twice is worse than lack of content. I would've preferred 3 discs with beautiful CGI cutscenes.

Hey im all for multiple disks if the content is there. I meant that it would lead to less trolling done by PS3 fanboys on the 360

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

didn't they mention some kind of time travel?

my money is on Final groundhog fantasy where they are trapped in time to relive the same CGI sequence over and over again

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’

Do the less use of pre rendered cutscenes really alow for such a decrease in data volume? From 3 discs to 1, imo it just means the game is a hell of alot shorter.

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

It doesnt bother people that there will be DLC?? Im pretty sure the game will be shorter, so the DLC will make up for it?? Might as well wait for a final mix version

I'm bothered by the DLC more then anything because that means we have to spend more to get the complete game.Hell it bothers me with any games at this point, but It's going to be the norm and the reason why I am buying more and more games on sale and less on release.

It's good news that It's on one disc, but I'm gonna miss those nice cgi cut scenes. Square-Enix does those CGI scenes the best.

It's just that simple.

Screw CGI. Hopefully this means more gameplay.
