I concur. First person driving isn't something I would associate with a kart racer - has it been done before?

I decided to buy a 3DS shortly after this is released. I am sure I can sink a ton of hours into this game. Hopefully there will be no way to snake because that pretty much ruined online play for me on the DS version (I didn't care to ever learn how to snake).

If the game does have snaking it should be much easier to perform on account of the analog stick, so I doubt it'll be the advantage it was on DS

(snaking on the DS used to really hurt my thumb after a while)
