I was a little sketchy on the flight and water mechanics, but it does seem to be more seamless than originally portrayed

Getting cautiously excited. I've never been really hyped for Mario Kart ahead of time, but i've always loved the results

I've been very skeptical of Mario Kart 7 after Mario Kart Wii killed the feel of the series, and even moreso after the announcement of gliders and underwater portions. But after watching that video, I'm quite convinced there's nothing to fear. This looks like it's going to be a marvelous successor to Mario Kart DS.
