When I first got my 3DS I got about 9 hours of battery life with Wifi off, brightness on the lowest setting while playing some DS games and the built in 3DS games.

So I'm hoping with wifi off and the lowest brightness, the Vita's battery will be much longer.

all i can say is...AH SHIT!! have some extra cash and was looking to re buy either a Wii or a PS3 (used of course) depending on the best bundle I could find...but with all this shit?! damn...I might as well hang on to my money and wait for the Vita and see if it gets teh games or not.

Everyone pretty much expected PSV to have a not-so-stellar battery life. The shock was how poor 3DS's battery life was. Your post is typical of what irratates me about these forums:

And that's what almost everyone has been saying.

i know i know.. life's unfair..  its alright dude you need to get your vita.. and you can enjoy it.. for 3 - 5 hrs hahaha..truly i do enjoy this news only means I can stop hearing shit from fanboys shit talking the 3DS from having a bad battery life..

you know what else? I cannot wait to see how this will do when it comes out!!.. and then compare it to the terrible terrible sale of the 3DS.. remember how really bad the 3DS sales is? yeh .. it should do better than the crappy 3DS right?.. .. ;)
