Everyone pretty much expected PSV to have a not-so-stellar battery life. The shock was how poor 3DS's battery life was. Your post is typical of what irratates me about these forums:

You settle your vendetta with the 'invisible person' by putting words in his mouth and then having a smug smile on your face.

You say: "like the psv will have better battery life"

And that's what almost everyone has been saying.

now.. now fair is fair.. after reading endless 3DS threads and comments after comments how shitty 3DS battery life is compared to vita with "teh omgawd superior battery life!!.." psv should get the same treatment..

going from a higher battery life console (ds) to a much weaker one (3ds) vs. going from one (psp) to one with similar battery life (PSV)...I will let your genius self do the math behind the complaints

and btw if you are looking for that crowd, most of them are in the ninty forums ;)

it's kinda sad the way some of you are reacting to this, sony have always said this will be the range the battery life will be...even before E3! so pretty much everyone expected as such...so yeah.

going from a lower powered console (ds) to a much higher powered (3DS) which outputs to 3 screens and more functionality.. My!! what was I thinking!! how could I ever think it will use so much more battery than the ds!... by golly gosh.. i should hang out with dumb and dumber and be a third wheel..

I heard the test was done with wifi turned off, so the battery could take a hit when you turn it on

So wifi/3g off and they didn't even use the speakers! Damn...that is not good at all. I thought the PSP/3DS wasn't that good, but this is just...Brings back memories of playing games on my Sega Gamegear!

If proving people wrong and making prophecies like internet nostradamus on an internet forum are the highlight of your days, you need a new hobby buddy.

OT: I really don't think any resonable person expected the PSV battery life to be any higher than the 3DS one.
