Everyone pretty much expected PSV to have a not-so-stellar battery life. The shock was how poor 3DS's battery life was. Your post is typical of what irratates me about these forums:

Every "lol" from you sounds forced as hell. Like you wanted to enjoy this more than you actually can, when really, I think most gamers expected this. Also, I'm pretty sure sony didn't go and said "7 ~ 9 hours battery life huehuehue 3ds suckz huehuehue."
