Can Disney beat Universal's record 2015 domestic gross - $2.445 billion?

It will fall short of tha... 4 13.33%

Finding Dory, Doctor Stra... 20 66.67%

It's going to be very cl... 6 20.00%

Total:30

Nice hold for Ted. I should be able to reach $150m when all is said and done.

Oh, and also great for Brave! Glad to see pixar still has it

@bordlove: GOTCHA RT@boxofficemojo: Early numbers have #AmazingSpiderMan at $35M today, which tops 'Transformers' ($27.9M) for best Tuesday gross ever

Wow...

I can't bring myself to care about The Amazing Spider-Man. My heart is still broken from the cancellation of Spider-Man 4.

:O. Still the lowest opening day for Spider-Man ever, if I am not mistaken. That doesn't mean much though, since it is a Tuesday

Wendnesdays numbers (todays) are going to be the real indicator on how much box office potential The Amazing Spider-Man has.

So I ended up going to see it after all and it was pretty awesome. Not nearly as great as the first Spider-Man but it's a good start.

Is that nostalgia or did you watch it again recently?

Well it's not nostalgia but I remember how much I liked the first movie.

I'm scared of watching it again because of the special effects :/

For being in 4,318 theater The Amazing Spider-Mans numbers should be a little better also it didn't get a 4th of July boost domestically since Wednesdays numbers are down a little over $10 million from Tuesday.

Weekend Forecast (July 6-8)
1. The Amazing Spider-Man - $67 million ($142 million six-day)
2. Ted - $31.6 million (-42%)
3. Brave - $20.1 million (-41%)
4. Katy Perry - $13.5 million ($19 million four-day)
5. Magic Mike - $15.7 million (-60%)
-. Savages - $11.1 million

Just when I thought Superhero movies where on the decline The Avengers smashed the Box office. I supposse Spider-Man wont be as succesfull as the first 3 wher but it should do solid too. Marvel is kicking DCs ass
