Can Disney beat Universal's record 2015 domestic gross - $2.445 billion?

It will fall short of tha... 4 13.33%

Finding Dory, Doctor Stra... 20 66.67%

It's going to be very cl... 6 20.00%

Total:30

I think Skyfall will easily make more then that I'm guessing over $80 million dollars.

I'm glad skyfall is doing so well

$30 m for Skyfall in N.A. That's really good, but not too great.
If the movie is front loaded then it won't make the $80 m that I thought it would.
But since the reviews are great, I still think it will get to $80 by Sunday.

Ralph made close to 8 m. Maybe $30 m for the weekend..

And Lincoln - another movie I might see in the theaters - made $268,000 in only 11 theaters.
average of $24,000.
That's great!
But not sure how it compares to other epic films that started in such low number of theaters.

With almost $31 million dollar opening on Friday Skyfall should easily make over $80 million by Sunday. Even if it falls short by a million or two it will easily be the best domestic opening by a Bond movie since the previous best was Quantum of Solace with $67.5 million. Also with that opening it easily on pace to make over $200 million dollars domestically. Of the eight movies that made over $200 million dollars this year only The Avengers, The Hunger Games and The Dark Knight Rises had better openings.

Dang!
$90m for Skyfall.

$33m for Ralph - decent but not good. needs to make at least $7m tomorrow..

With a $87million dollar weekend $90 if you include Thursdays numbers Skyfall is easily going to make over $200 million dollars domestic now. I'm thinking it can do at least $220 domestically and $700 million overseas.

Exactly Skyfall could become Sony's (Columbia Pictures) first billion dollar box office picture.  Even if it falls short it should easily finish ahead of Spider-Man 3.

Skyfall passess $100m in the U.S. in only 4 days.
ww sits at $530 m.
Impressive. for a very good but not that great movie. I guess I was expecting more.

Twilight set to make $140- $150m for the weekend.
Who is watching this crap?
