Actually is about a struggeling school that gets turned around with the intervention of a concerned teacher and parent. But it also has a hidden agenda since it tries to promote the privatization of public schools.
Trouble with the curve" was really good. clint bring his talent to this movie. Much better than "Moneyball".
Also enjoyed the previews of "Lincoln", "Jacky Robinson Story", "right pitch", and "Les Miserable" looked awesome.

I am pretty fond of the Liam Neeson Les Mis.
Jacky Robinson Story? Seriously! |
I think 'Les Mis' with wolverine, robinhood, and cat woman is gonna be better. I didn't know they could all sing.
I am fond of black history/inspirational/sports movies.
Actually the movie is called "42" and the trailer looks pretty good. Harrison Ford as Brach Ricky looks like an excellent casting judging by the trailer.
That was "61" when he played Roger Maris. Interesting side note Kenny Washington who was a teamate of Jackie Robinson on the 1939 UCLA football team reintergrated the NFL in 1946. Also he and Robison died to soon both in their early 50's they deserved to live much longer for what they went through in their lives both should have at least lived as long as another teamate from the 1939 UCLA team Woody Strode who lived to be 80.
Movie 43 is a spoof comedy. 42 is a bio pic about Jackie Robison and the intergration of major league baseball in 1947.
Taken 2 and Skyfall soon....the box-office is starting to become interesting again

My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right
Taken 2 is off to a great start. Skyfall should be the first Bond movie to gross over $200 million domestically. I think there is still a good change that 2012 will be a better year domestically then 2011 in both total gross and tickets sold.
Taken 2's metascore is only slghtly lower then the first one 45/100 compared to 50/100. So I don't think that many critics hated it much more then the first one.
