Its still better then most sequels where all they do is slap a different number at then end of the name.

Lol its guranteed do do better than Spider-Man 3...and possibly The Dark Knight but only its legs can decide if it manages to beat Transformers 3 and Pirates of Carribean series.

Have you even seen the movie ? The Dark Knight Rises is the perfect title considering the events that occur in the movie.

How did he rise two films ago ?He just simply found his path to justice.The Dark Knight was ''born''. And you can't rise if you don't fall first.

I actually think this will have long legs because people will feel safe to go out to the movies a week or so later. I have not went to watch it yet but am going. This tragedy really pushed down sales. This guy f'ed up the movies for some people for some time. What a dick. He could have went after some no good gangsters instead but no matter what, there is no reason to go after anyone. Unless they are trying to kill your family or your life is in serious danger. This guy is a nut bag and f'ed up Batman, WTF!!! Also I will add my heart goes out to the families of this horrible tragedy. This guy just pisses me off. He decides to go to a place of happiness with kids and teenagers. Innocent people. What a f'ing dirt bag.

From Japan alone...I doubt that

just look at the yearly charts. Quite a few movies every year have earned more than 80mil.
