30/Aug/2011 After more than 7 years, Deus Ex returns to the All Formats Chart in style as Square and Eidos Montreal’s ‘Deus Ex: Human Revolution’ debuts at No1, just 26,000 units short of outperforming previous title Deus Ex: Invisible War’s lifetime sales in just 2 days. Xbox 360 is the format of choice with a 57% share, followed by PS3 with 31% and PC 13%. 505 Games’ ‘Zumba Fitness’ (-10%) has to settle for No2, putting an end to its impressive uninterrupted run at the top. It would have only needed one more week to have equalled the longest ever uninterrupted run at No1, held by ‘FIFA: Road to the World Cup’ with 11 weeks. 505 Games will be happy however with a new entry at No3 for ‘Rugby World Cup 2011’ only 400 sales shy of ‘Zumba’. Competitive pricing and the recent launch of the 4th map pack ‘Rezurrection’ on Xbox Live has helped propel ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops’ (+83%) back into the Top 10 at No5, after 4 weeks outside it. The rest of the Top 10 contains familiar faces jostling for position with Disney still well represented with ‘Lego Pirates of the Caribbean’ (+10%) at No4 and ‘Cars 2’ (-15%) at No6. ‘FIFA 11’ (-9%) makes way for this week’s new entries by falling 2 places to No7, while ‘Dirt 3’ (+3%) manages to hold on at No8. ‘Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4’ (-8%) slips from No6 to No9 ensuring that the Top 10 still has 2 Lego games, while pricing on ‘Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood’ (+49%) propels it from No19 to No10, its joint highest position since February. Not to be left out, Nintendo’s unusual football RPG ‘Inazuma Eleven’ just makes the Top 40, debuting at No39.
