I guess @kowen mentioned GT5 only by what I said... I'm a fan of the game so people tend to look at my comments in this way.

I just pointed that even though the car looks better in F4 (it's obvious) the F3 show more details in screen (it's obvious too)... so this video wouldn't be the best comparison for the two games.

F4 should definitely looks better than F3... but this video doesn't show that.

Agreed! It's always sad when you see people hyping up game X not because they think it's actually good but because it's an exclusive.

It is fairly obvious though that in this respect all of the calls about it offering no noticable improvement are from sony fans.  Not that I am remotely arsed... its just an observation.

Bullshit, I could easily go and say the opposite, that all people who say there is an improvement is an XBOX 360 fanboy.

Anyway, I haven't even talked about the difference between the two games yet, all I have said is that the footage doesn't even look legit, has piss poor quality and looks absolutely nothing like it would look on a big screen.

The image looks like it is being filmed off-screen, blacks are crushed, colours are over-saturated, what person in their right mind would use that video as a comparison, especially without even posting a source.

no it isnt bullshit its an honest and accurate summary, and no you couldnt say the opposite, because everyone here has had the benefit of seeing other video footage that has been released, where the improvements are pretty obvious to anyone

When it comes to other footage, of course there have been improvements over Forza 3, but is that other footage isn't the topic of discussion right now.

Ehh, who cares about the car modeling improvements.  The game has Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear doing the in-game narrative giving the back story to the cars!

Going back on topic, the vid is pretty poor so it's difficult to say anything concrete (I mean, Forza 3 looks better than shown in that vid).

Based on the vid though, it looks like they've gone for a more realistic look. Better lighting and car models look to be the main plus points and minor improvements on things like the grass textures are looking good.
