Honestly the number of exclusives isnt that relevant.. the GOAL of each console maker is to sell alot of games.. Sony's strategy is to publicly talk about having alot of exclusives.. but these arent the good old PS2 days.. 3rd party or 1st party matters less.. total ps3 excusive sold: 64.72 total xbox exclusive sold: 64.46, see??? even if halo is in the list all the ps3 exclusive combine still outsold all the xbox combine

There are a lot of exclusives left off of that list for both consoles, mainly the 360, so I hope that was sarcasm. Both companies have very different strategies when it comes to 1st and 2nd party development which is why this whole feud is next to pointless.

Most websites Ive found seem to show more 360 only titles, but its hard to get a hard count.. but your point above is valid and solid thinking.. Ive pretty much disregarded the talk about exclusives and whose better .. they matter.. but both consoles have enough exclusives to have a solid line up.. I think MS has done well considering this is only their 2nd system and they entered a console race dominated by two well known contenders that have sold alot of system.. I think next gen they could do even better because they learned a huge lesson in the importance of better product reliability testing for the next gen.. MS also makes consoles more 'developer friendly' .. easier to program for and still powerful.. alot of hype was built around the PS3 CPU, but at the last minute they nerfed the PS3 GPU and downgraded the memory system to save money or the PS3 wouldve been over a grand on release.. the 360 actually has a more powerful GPU and most games are GPU reliant/boud , not CPU.. The result is developers have to spend many more hours doing optimizations to tap the power of the PS3.. taping the 360's power has proven easier.. Next gen Sony needs more balance in the system.. basically Cell is being held back by other parts of the PS3.. it can never reach its full potential in the PS3..

360 has alot of good games, not just Halo...but PS3 fans think because Halo sells 8 to 10 million and it gets so much attention that its all they have... Honestly I know a few people with PS3's ( like my brother who has all 3 current gen consoles )... and they all play mostly COD... Im in the USA... FPS's are what rule in the USA... and evidentally they are what sell in EMEAA areas best.. because COD did well there too...  I dont see how the 'hardcore' PS3 fans somehow think a system in 3rd place with games sales that ARE in a distant 3rd place have so much to offer...There is SOMETHING CALLED Supply and DEMAND... People demand good products.. GREAT games sell ALOT of copies if they are exclusives or not it doesnt matter... The only thing that matters is what people want.. and evidentally they prefer being soldiers with guns because there ARE alot of diverse games on the 360 as well... 360 has alot of exclusives.. good ones.. if you like racing Forza motorsport is decent.. sold 4 million.. not great, but not bad.. its a newer title that doesnt have the history around it GT has obviously..and young kids really dont like racing.. the top 5 exclusives on 360 have sold close to the top 5 on PS3.. plain and simple.. this thread is about exclusives.. but the fact is Sony Exclusives arent helping as much as PS3 hard fanboys would like..  Id go as far as saying 90% of 360 owners were PS2 fans.. I had a PS2.. it was the system of choice.. I had over 30 games I owned.. I didnt like how Sony handled the PS3 from the start.. and I still play MGS on my brothers PS3.. its fun.. but the ridiculous notion the 360 has so  many less choices and also has no diversity is wishful thinking.. The truth is there is so much focus on COD and Halo and Gears mainly because thats what kids would rather play.. If you ask 100 18 yr olds what they would rather play.. COD on PS3 or GT.. COD will win.. If you ask the same question for the 360.. COD or HALO over Forza or Dirt.. FPS will win out.. its not about exclusives really.. there are alot of choices on both system.. the fact is.. FPS sell best on BOTH systems.. What are you a paid Sony Troll ?  Anyone can look up that 360 has more total games then the PS3.. throw in the fact 360 has sold more games then the PS3.. So if you honestly beleive the 360 sold 100 million more games then the PS3 from HALO- then I think you're proving you're a fool on your own..

Also.. the PS3 has been within 3 million consoles before of the 360..  the 360 typically sells best on holidays even if the other months it is slightly outpaced.. without Japan the PS3 would not be outpacing.. and PS4 needs good North America sales to be a success.. I think this will be hard for Sony ( I mean winning back North America ) .. because they can never be #1 again without N. America

Ok first you're NOT Listing the complete list of PS3 or 360 EXCLUSIVES ...and there are also no solid numbers showing what the 360 exclusives have sold on XB LIVE.. I downloaded Reach after my store bought version was stolen.. XB LIVE has over 100 games for download and sales are not tracked yet.. 

But even if we go by YOUR LIST  you've helped make my point.. GOING by the LIST of SUPPOSEDLY A MUCH MORE AWESOME CHOICE of EXCLUSIVES on the PS3 over the Xbox 360.. ALL those games and the difference in sales in less then 300k units ! ... So all this bitching and moaning and  talk of how much better Sony exclusives are and how many more propaganada talks so we can all feel good we bought a PS3 talk.. and the difference between the two consoles is 300k units !   your list also proves that many of the exclusives are not console selling titles.. if you look at the top 5 EXCLUSIVES on either console.. those are the Console sellers..

Your numbers above also prove that Multi-platform titles maybe the future of gaming, not exclusives.. LESS companies are loyal.. less companies want to make exclusives.. many Sony exclusives went to MS and/or back to Nintendo ( where they were before PS1 back in the old Nintendo days )...  Take a look at the list of Non Exclusive games selling much better and the difference between the 360 and PS3 is over 100 million game units..


im talking about the store sale and you can buy game from psn store too so, im just stating that ps3 exlcusive combine sold more, and these are the most popular one ppl know, and many ms exlcusvie when to ps3 as well like ninja gadien, mass effect, bio shock, elder scroll etc etc... and how is this proof mutiplatform is the furture????  even xbox has big console seller(halo), but it cannot beat all the ps3 game combine right??? PS i dont care which game is console selling game, all i care is  when you combine all the exclusive together, which console sold more exclusive.

by game i said GOOD game, how many good game does xbox have huh??? 2??? halo ??? gear???? ps3 has gt5 ucharted2 mgs4, little big planet, etc see??? i bet ppl like you think that crackdown2, alan wake got the same level as these ps3 games

360 has alot of good games, not just Halo...but PS3 fans think because Halo sells 8 to 10 million and it gets so much attention that its all they have... Honestly I know a few people with PS3's ( like my brother who has all 3 current gen consoles )... and they all play mostly COD... Im in the USA... FPS's are what rule in the USA... and evidentally they are what sell in EMEAA areas best.. because COD did well there too...  I dont see how the 'hardcore' PS3 fans somehow think a system in 3rd place with games sales that ARE in a distant 3rd place have so much to offer...There is SOMETHING CALLED Supply and DEMAND... People demand good products.. GREAT games sell ALOT of copies if they are exclusives or not it doesnt matter... The only thing that matters is what people want.. and evidentally they prefer being soldiers with guns because there ARE alot of diverse games on the 360 as well... 360 has alot of exclusives.. good ones.. if you like racing Forza motorsport is decent.. sold 4 million.. not great, but not bad.. its a newer title that doesnt have the history around it GT has obviously..and young kids really dont like racing.. the top 5 exclusives on 360 have sold close to the top 5 on PS3.. plain and simple.. this thread is about exclusives.. but the fact is Sony Exclusives arent helping as much as PS3 hard fanboys would like..  Id go as far as saying 90% of 360 owners were PS2 fans.. I had a PS2.. it was the system of choice.. I had over 30 games I owned.. I didnt like how Sony handled the PS3 from the start.. and I still play MGS on my brothers PS3.. its fun.. but the ridiculous notion the 360 has so  many less choices and also has no diversity is wishful thinking.. The truth is there is so much focus on COD and Halo and Gears mainly because thats what kids would rather play.. If you ask 100 18 yr olds what they would rather play.. COD on PS3 or GT.. COD will win.. If you ask the same question for the 360.. COD or HALO over Forza or Dirt.. FPS will win out.. its not about exclusives really.. there are alot of choices on both system.. the fact is.. FPS sell best on BOTH systems.. Sony needs more development for a kick ass FPS exclusive.. because really kids want this..

What are you a paid Sony Troll ?  Anyone can look up that 360 has more total games then the PS3.. throw in the fact 360 has sold more games then the PS3.. So if you honestly beleive the 360 sold 100 million more games then the PS3 from HALO- then I think you're proving you're a fool on your own..

Also.. the PS3 has been within 3 million consoles before of the 360..  the 360 typically sells best on holidays even if the other months it is slightly outpaced.. without Japan the PS3 would not be outpacing.. and PS4 needs good North America sales to be a success.. I think this will be hard for Sony ( I mean winning back North America ) .. because they can never be #1 again without N. America

and you havent name some game that can compete with uc2,mgs4,gt5. you said xbox has alot good game too right?? then name them, all i see ur aaa title is gear , halo, and forza

Honestly the number of exclusives isnt that relevant.. the GOAL of each console maker is to sell alot of games.. Sony's strategy is to publicly talk about having alot of exclusives.. but these arent the good old PS2 days.. 3rd party or 1st party matters less.. Most of the good games are multi platform titles now..
