Were adjustments made to the charts in U.S.? I could have sworn that PS3 was selling in the mid 50 thousand range of units a week. Now its in the mid 40 thousand range. Roughly 30,000 less units a week than X360.

Yeah hugely undertracked, which is surprising to me with Vgchartz history of consistantly overtracking Ninty hardware.  

We saw a pretty big increase in demand actually which was entirely unexpected to me since I wasn't convinced the price cut would do much.  The big winner in terms of software was Zelda OoT being the game with the highest attach rate of new 3DS purchases.  We had a promotion company wide where if you traded in your older DS model you could get a brand new 3DS for only $99 which cause huge trade in / upgrades.  I really don't understand how Vgchartz could be this far off....

That seems like a very sizeable jump to me based on last weeks sales, but maybe you are seeing something different?

Its sizeable but not reflective of what it actually sold.  It quite certainly outsold the 360 in NA.  We have approx. 5,000 stores domestically in North America and these numbers would reflect that each store individually would have only sold approx 5 new 3DS's per store.  That's just insane.  Not to mention that is just takeing us as a retailer not including sales from Wal-Mart and other major retailers and I know my district nearly completly depleted itself of new 3DS units, the upgrade promotion being the biggest contributing factor.  I honestly don't see how 3DS could be much lower 90k - 100k

It was a company wide deal and we are the largest gameing retailer on the planet Earth.
