Its England were too civilised :P to be honest i really want to just go and help the police and beat the living sh** into them dumbasses. I dont think guns would work as by now it would just caus more anger and the mob would start to arm themselves and i think it would get to the point where the army would need to come in. I am definately for the use of water cannons and my mom thought we should turn a flamethrower on them

Easiest way to sort it is to remove laws against Police getting repercussions for attacking these people outright. This is an extreme case, it's not just police presence during a protest, the police need to be able to do something. These people are destroying lives, harming people and they obviously don't care, so why should we care about them? Remove the laws that are restricting police from taking the correct course of action.

The problem is that thiscould end up backfiring. Plus, when certain ineterests are in line, I'm sure the police could say they 'mistook' protesters for rioters.

This is england we have no guns plus my parent arent letting us out i miss work 2morrow :(

Update: motorways, and other transport links to city centre blocked only one train operational

Clearly gun control works, people can't even defend their cities and homes.

oh yeah a country with a gun or two in every houshold like in the states is so much better. let's look how many people in the states die with a gun...oh yeah a much better system but hey they can defend their cities and homes lol.

i won't know how many housholdrs die every year because they have a gun and try to shoot the burglar who has a gun as well and win the wild west story.

i have no gun what will i do if their will be someone in my hosue? i will let him steal all and will get my financial damage balanced by the insurance.

Assuming he get's anything.

I was checking a few car insurance texts and all of them stated they don't cover war and or riot damage.

Not in this situation. I was talking about other potential situations in the future.

Managed to have a nice drink in the pub last night with no issues.

This morning Birmingham city centre looked pretty much the same as it did yesterday, apart from a load of litter strewn everywhere and a massive plume of smoke coming from what looks like Nechells or Aston.

Gang related violence, angry out of control youths with no respect for anyone, looting and destroying everything in sight. Word spreads like wild fire on social media networks like Facebook and Twitter.

I doubt that will happen as there is a large different between a protest and a riot. The change in laws will cover rioters not peaceful protests.

Hmm, pie.
