Actually, you posted in this thread before the comparisons were put up, so you had the chance to post them by yourself, but you didn't.

ahhhhhh but my first post was via my iphone and as you know Apple dont do multitasking on their phones and this forum is still pretty hit and miss on it too. 

So rather than piss about switching screens and tryin to use the tiny calculateor and and and...  I raced back to my office, leapt out of the car and sprinted to my laptop in eager willingness to post my YOY, only to find that alas.... I was beaten to it.

But Kowen we've had EMEAA and Americas for 3 days now, and we have media crate so you could have just roughly done the YoY comparison, I'm afraid your excuses just don't wash.

Yes, but 33k in EMEAA and 2k in Japan isn't, let alone down 67% (yeah, there was the slim but still, that's heavy).

It's worse for Wii, 2nd place and down 21%, even with a price cut.

And PS3 down 27%, 3DS FAMILY down 29%, PSP down 35% even with price cut...that's bad.

 

And PS3 is first, right?

But 72k for 360 in America is still a number here out of all 12, and it isn't terrible, so you're wrong.

PS3 back on top. I assume the Wii will keep falling, to the point the DS is above it. Also, God of War almost to 4 mil! come on, do it kratos! great legs...on sales...not kratos.

It makes perfect sense, there are 12 lots of numbers, 3 EMEAA, 3 Americas, 3 Japan and 3 WW, I said Americas 360 was a good number, not terrible.

I deleted your post because otherwise quote chains become too long.

I wasn't arguing PS3 wasn't on top, what are you going on about?

No. Nintendo uses their own tracking system company not related with NPD or GFK.

ioi thinks the Nintendo tracking is more accurate... comparing it to NPD I guess he is right (NPD tracks just 60% of the US market), but I guess GFK is more accuracte after all (tracks 90% of the UK market) but GFK doesn't show numbers, just positions.

I can't find them but when we had expanded results they clearly based graphs on NPD numbers.

So my bad... I guessed Nintendo uses Nitendo for WW... but seems like their use NPD for US, Media Create for Japan and Nintendo for Europe (own tracking system).

Japan: nice week for HW, excellent for SW, WOW @ 3DS WoW! (sorry for the horrible pun )
WW: nice week in Japan can't save Wii from losing the weekly crown again WW, excellent week in Japan just allows 3DS to outsell PSP WW, but not even to reach 100k. Japan SW manages to give us a positive SW week WW too. Grats to PS3 and GT5.
Balance Board and Kinect both down, but the good news for Kinect is that it fills part of the gap, the bad news that its sales are ~80% in America and just 20% in the rest of the world and outside of USA and UK its sales rise a little just during expensive ads runs and plummet as soon as they're over.

PS3 will probably keep this lead now that its back to #1 until the Holiday's. During the Holiday's I expect it to be 360>Wii>PS3. 360 should also win worldwide for 2011 with Wii coming in #2 and PS3 as #3.

StarFox 64 3D had a nice Japan opening considering that StarFox isn't that popular in Japan. It was still enough to push 3DS to be #1 this week there.

3DS will do great this Holiday IMO!
