I only played the GC and Wii games, Radiant Dawn being one of my favourite experiences this gen.
I love Soren and he made it to my avatar for more than a year.

Imagine chess with numbers, terrain, weapons, and a storyline. Any excuse for a lord to go galavanting off into the continent fighting a druid makes a FE game. They're good. There's plenty of ROMS and emus out there for you if you ever want to try. Message me and I'll link you the sites if you want to have a go.

Is there any particular order they should be played to best appreciate the story?

They're all different really. But my favourites are Radiant Dawn (Wii) Shadow Dragon (DS) and Sacred Stones (GBA). They're all very similar, but all very much worth playing!

Fire Emblem 7 for Game Boy Advance.

I am expecting a FE game on the 3DS and Wii U... I just hope that they will end up being as good or better than Radiant Dawn, my favorite of the FE series because I like the characters. FE9 and FE8 come at a close second and third. Shadow Dragon was not that good, but still enjoyable... Until I played sacred stones that is =_=.

I'd be surprised if there's no FE 3DS or WiiU. It sells, simple as really.

so I see Radiant Dawn is going for a pretty penny on eBay... I wonder if I can find it cheaper elsewhere...
