I don't think it can ever be done live given the nature of the different countries the sites users are from. BUt it doens't need to be done live as its better to have it in PM...not random forum posters interrupting debates in between or "helping" the side they wanna by giving them ideas.

Ah OK, I get it now. That's fine. But yeah, it'll be losed off to the people taking part ONLY, so no-one else has any outside influence, and the people who are taking part in the debate won't be identifed on the site until the thread goes up and the debate is over, right? That way you can't have huge groups suggesting things. If it's discovered you're getting outside help, you'll have to forfeit the debate.

I think that's right...

I'd be argueing both for and against honestly, its not a clear cut thing either way. The Wii certainly failed gamers in some ways but in other ways it did something revolutionary for gamers. I would be in the middle.

But you have to pick one side....its a debate there is a for and an against.

update the point 4 to fit what we have decided on how the debate will be set out!!! ITs conflicting with what we've said in the thread now. The debate won't "last" for 15-20 min...it'll be done via a group PM and will have 5 days to get done!
