According to Capcom and Famitsu it's "Hunting Action". MoHun isn't really an RPG, though it shares a lot of characteristics with them and plenty of it's clones do cross that RPG-line. Sort of a similar situation as Zelda.

right,obviously i don't know anything about MH,Pokemon or Dragon quest i mean i've played WKC,DA,DS,VC type games but do 4m people hunt monsters without anything changing or levelling?

There's no EXP in MoHun, all "leveling" is done purely through equipment changes and temporary status changes. Your character doesn't really level though, it's all static.

I still have to finish some. Like Inazuma Eleven and Radiant Historia. Both extremelly good in my opinion.

I'm much further back. One reason I'm not getting a 3DS is because I just have too much on the DS. I have yet to beat a single Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy game on the DS. I'm basically back in 2007, working on Final Fantasy Tactics A2!

Wait, where is this list coming from? Why isn't Lost Odyssey on it? That's the best JRPG, all together. What about The Last Story, and XenoBlade? I understand Infinite Undiscovery not making the list but.....OH wait.....

NVM this is a list of best selling JRPG's in Japan. 360 doesn't sell well at all there. Lost Odyssey only sold 106k.

Not fair since 360 has just as good or IMO better and more JRPG's.

For reference to how much PS3 software rapes 360 software. Tales of Vesperia was a 360 exclusive for over a year, and it only sold 186k on the 360 lifetime. The PS3 version sold more then double, despite being a port.

Damn DQ Wii still is the second best selling JRPG in Japan!! Speaks volumes of the poor sales this generation. DQX, FF13-2, and tales of Xilia should change the whole table soon
