Of course the wii needed them and they needed alot more thats why the WiiU is so 3rd party focused.

So a game that was never announced or shown is not in development? I'm trying to figure out what's news worthy here.

LMAO! I dont think i have ever seen such whining in the video game community. So let me get this straight, THQ doesnt announce the game themselves, my all evidence its a rumor. It was announced by Ninty and instead of getting mad at them, who as we have just seen have no qualms about announcing games that are not even in development; your mad at THQ who probably wasnt even planning a game for 3DS in the first place??? Be mad at Ninty, there the ones who got overzealous.

As for the whole core games on WII, I cant believe people are still talking about that. No, the WIi didnt and doesnt need core games and if a WIi owner wants core games that badly, they'll get PS360 and or PC. Just like till recently if a HD owner wanted motion control games, they would have to have bought... a Wii. Hell, THe cost of Kinect and Move is damn near the cost of WIi. So its almost like buying another console anyway

This isnt really a shock... all those developer list for new hardware NEVER have the game in development. Its just games they would like to create assuming Hardware sells great.

Which scenario seems more likely to you:

1. Overzealous Nintendo steals THQ's IP and slaps the Saints Row logo on their E3 presentation. Ha! You've gotta make Saints Row for 3DS now, bitches.

2. THQ exec, asked by Nintendo what games they plan to bring to the 3DS, randomly throws out the name "Saints Row" and gets THQ's marketing team to send over the Saints Row logo so that Nintendo can publicize it at E3. Lying executive gets his project shitcanned when he takes the proposal to his superior and has to deny the whole thing.

I don't give a shit about Saints Row, but if the question is whether Nintendo is a manipulative thief or whether THQ is staffed by incompetent baboons, I know where to lay my money.

But they should have actually checked to see if they were in fact developing the damn thing before they even said anything and got people's hopes up/ Lets keep it reall, Ninty isnt always innocent, did they not just announce a damn Smash Bros game that wont START developing till the end of this year???
