I honestly doubt we will see a new patapon anytime soon after the declining sales the series had

May be the piracy and the bad advertising something that most of the First Party games of PlyStation product are suffering.. infamous 2, Resistance 3, motorstorm apocalypsis are the most notable victims... :( and Patapon 3 too...

Or maybe more Digital sells? Anyway, anyone that love PSp sould try patapon is the best Rythm based Strategy-Rpg of the console... I will support it...

I went ahead and ordered Hot Shots Golf on Amazon since it is only $30. Still not sure when I'm getting the Vita.

While this may be true, they should take into account that no psp game managed to sell well the last two or three years. Even God of War: Ghost of Sparta didn't manage to sell a million and we all know how popular the franchise is. Not even Peace Walker...

Hey all, sorry if this has been covered, but will Vita ever support Android?

I think to give you an honest opeinion, there is one thing I need to know. How digital heavy are you thinking of going with game purchases?

That's the thing, i'm not really sure.

Guess I could just go 8GB and if I need the room, I could just swap stuff out.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Get the first one dude, don't bother with 3G, get the big memory card and the single game. Not like you need more than one game at a time, you can get ModNation or whatever else you want later.

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

Hey guys, I really need some help here since I am so undecided and time is running short.

I have the WiFi version preordered as well as a 16GB memory card, so I am about $335 in so far, but I still need a game.

I am torn between these options.

PSVita WiFi + 16GB + Game = ~$375 ($365)
PSVita WiFi/3G + 8GB + Game = ~$365 ($355)
PS Vita WiFi + 8GB + 2 Games = ~$390 ($370)

All prices are assuming the games I buy are $40 each. Prices in parenthesis are if games purchase are $30.

I currently have the first option, but right now I am seriously leaning towards the 3rd one, but the 2nd one keeps bugging me because I hear the 3G version also has GPS and what if they release games that might use it? You think there is a reason to get the 3G for just the GPS?

I don't know what all the hate is with the 3g model, It's not like you have to pay for the 3g plan. I look at it this way, I can buy the 3g now, and maybe be disappointed that nothing happened with it, or something great might happen with it, and I'll be kicking myself in the ass standing in the check out like to buy a second vita. So I'm going 3g right out of the gate. No reason not to. It's not a big price difference. You can always pick up a second game next payday, or when ever. If you really want a second game, trade something in. I know i have a few games that may never see the inside of my system again.

Yeah that's true... The only thing that keep me away from the 3G edition is that's sim locked and I live on Southamerica... until a latinamerica 3G edition come Out i'm going with the WiFi Only... with bad security on the streets is not like i'm gonna take out mi Vita so much anyway...

Euphoria if i where you i would go with the 8gb MC meanwhile until late year Sony or retailers price cut MC due to Black friday and Holidays.. then You could purchase a 32gb MC may be at 80$? Who knows? i just suppose base  on what I have seen... Unless Your're going most digital than phisical.. take that in consideration..

Looks like I decided for sure that I won't be getting vita on launch now (basically had to decide between 3-4 games or trying to pull resources together for a vita). If only it released in November, this decision would have been pretty easy for me to pick it up, because I could have easily held off on half the titles I bought during that period.

Yep that's the option I would personally suggest. you can always get another card later on. and besides how many dl'd games will you carry with you in the beginning right? Can't remember but even a game like Escape Plan is not overly huge..8GB should be more than enough..plus this way you can have two launch games as well
