Forums - Gaming - E3: Nintendo WINS!

a few remakes, tons of multiplatforms already available on ps360 and the ability to stream console graphics which has already been done (ps3/psp remote play, and most likely improve with vita's dual sticks).
when ps4/x720 come out and are 5-10x more powerful, whats stopping developers from abandoning nintendo?

i think sony's won because PSvita's games, features and price, the 2 players 1 tv 3d thing and the affordable 3d gaming pack. Also, games that were shown were mostly exclusives.

All three conference were not very pleasing but I think Nintendo did win this one, although not a by long shot, in my opinion. Wii U does not interest me in the least bit, as do their millions of rehashes and remakes.

Am i the only one who thinks that the Wii U looks kinda stupid?

I thought so too, I even showed the controller to my girlfriend and she asked why Nintendo were making leapfrog toys...

Nintendo was probably the worst to me, the 3DS announcements just didn't excite me at all and the Pokemon thing was such a low point, a Pokedex come on! WiiU was just weird, the controller I don't know I don't really see a use for it and the only games they really showed were PS360 games so why would I buy it?

I taught it was awfull from nintendo. For the first time ever in video game history, nintendo made a console launch boring and confusing. Who the hell can mess up a next gen console launch?seriously!! NO love for the wii except for one game, that is shit.

Anyway, Nintendo did win. It is Nintendo's products that everyone is talking about now, and everyone will still be talking about a week from now, Whereas talk of Sony products is already barely a whisper, and Microsoft talk is non-existent.

THANK YOU! Someone thinking LOGICALLY. Regardless of what you thought about it, IT DOESN'T MATTER. I liked it. Guess what? Even MY opinion is meaningless. The cold, hard truth is that Nintendo is THE talk of E3 and the gaming industry right now because of the WiiU. They didn't NEED to talk about their games because they had the controller. That thing has everyone buzzing and wondering what people are going to do with it. There is more news dedicated to reactions to Nintendo than ANYTHING else right now. They've won E3 and it shows.

After watching the conference, was Zelda the only title announced for the Wii?

Mario Party 9 was the only new Wii game announced at E3 by Nintendo

Already announced games like Rhythm Heaven and Kirby also made appearances.  What is most strange is the lack of The Last Story IMO.

1. we don't know how powerful wii u is.  don't just say its playing current 360/ps3 games.  hell look at call of duty 2 compared to call of duty modern warfare 3.  both are hd console games.

2. release date.  when is 720 and ps4?  we might not see anything for another 5-6 years.

3. the new system could be a million x more pwoerful, that doesn' tmean the games will look a million time better.  you guys need to realize that grahpics won't jump some insane level.  yes some pc games are amazing looking compared to console games, but they still aren't as big a jump as ps2 to ps3 was.

the psvita games were all known weren't they?  and most seemed like ports.  the 2 players i 3d screen.  only one pair of glasses came with and a 24" tv is SOOO SMALL.  exclusives, but known.  nintendo showed more exclusives, but you wouldn't care about that.

it all comes down to people biased opinion.  nintendo could annoucne 20 NEW exclusives and yet sony could announce uncharated 4 and you woudl say sony won because you care about drake and not mario.
