Nintendo didn't announce a single exclusive for the Wii U and all we saw is PS3/360 footage of games coming to the Wii U one year after their HD release.
So what the Wii U software will look like and what its capacity are is still very much in the air...

On top of that we are still 18 months away from the Wii U release and Nintendo only showed a single Wii game, they are dropping Wii support way too early..

They had too much to talk about. Introducing the new platform was a good idea and the demos were neat and full of cool ideas. Moving 360 imagery is a bit virtual reality, different things on different screens means a whole new set of possibilities, not to mention the ability to play games when the wife comes in and takes over the tv. Besides, they also have Mario Party 9, Rhythm Heaven, Wii Play Motion and Kirby Wii and a few third party games at the convention. That's 5 games from Nintendo this year.

None of those games were mentionned in Nintendo presentation.

Are you guys now award Nintendo a win on an E3 presentation based on stuff they didn't do or show in that presentation ?

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

isnt' this about winning E3?  since when was E3 limited to the conference.  Besides Kirby i know for a fact WAS SHOWN at the conference.

I think that the majority of core Wii owners already own either a PS3 or 360 to compliment their Wii on the HD side of things. There is nothing significant that they showed to warrant a purchase for a console where they can already play their HD titles. Its a little too later unless they show a large handful of HD exclusives.

Nintendo didn't win they came in 2nd for me.

The wii U was a big failure for me. No exclusive games shown and everything they did is coming to consoles I allready have so why should I care about it.

Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor Blade is exclusive for Wii U, while Ghost Recon Online is PC/Wii U only. Ubisoft is working with a exclusive FPS and Assassins Creed is something new (no Revelations).

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Could not disagree more the way I see it all the big 3 had pretty damn lame conferences this year but Nintendos was the worst by far for me.

I see it like this

Sony = MS

Nintendo.

Sorry you dont "win" E3 by announcing 1 new 3DS game and showing a new system without a single actual game for it it. Only tech demoes. Their conference was beyond awful.

It is an overall consensus over the media that Nintendo won...of course, here, everyone will say Sony.

Dude being a fanboy is good.
but dont say things that are stupid.

I really don't know where your coming from, all I said was Nintendo had a good conference imo and the possibilities for WiiU are exciting. I NEVER said Mario, Zelda and Pokemon were brand new games that we never heard of. I NEVER said Uncharted, Infamous or Resistance were going to suck, Uncharted 3 is my most anticipated game atm and I can't wait to play Resistance 3/Infamous 2. I NEVER said Sony only makes sequels. All I said is that Nintendo actually had some surprises to show that were more intersting to me and their conference was my favourite, what's wrong with saying that? I have no problem with Sony, I actually play PS3 much more than my Wii atm, when I watch E3 it is to be entertained. Sony wasn't very entertaining, sure they had great content and I enjoyed that UC3 demo but the WiiU was more exciting because of the possibilities it brings. Nintendo gave me a reason to own a PS3 and a WiiU because they will have different experiences. Don't throw words around that I never said and don't call my opinion stupid. Being a fanboy is good? I don't know, maybe, but I'm no fanboy.

if someone was a wii owner was there anything for it? nothing

just 3ds games and showing a console for 2012, it was the worst

I know the REAL reason you were dissapointed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1QnMvzHszg

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

most articles at non gaming sites are about nintendo

the few places i've see where editors voted, they gave it to nintendo.  i think the only place i've seen give it to sony so far was from the sony ign team
