LOL!!! now I cant wait how ppl would react if GEARS 3 or Uncharted 3 gets the same treatment.

I'll put money on gears get 9s and 10s all over the board and from what I've seen of that game so far they will be rightly deserved however I guarantee Uncharted 3 will fail to score what its predecessor did and it will be open to major criticism.

LOL my bet is both will get nitpicked to death while the same shit every year(MW3)  will get 10's all across the board! =D

That is pretty much a given. No matter how many enemies on screen, how black the screen goes, MW3 will get higher than 8.5/10. The reviewers will twist their tastes to match the new CoD.

Yeah so true. Remember reviewers ain't dealing with the million or so people that will buy Infamous 2 but they'll be dealing with over 15 million COD frag heads. You can't piss them off.

There is nothing funnier to me than people who take bad reviews of a game personally, except when the people in question haven't even played the game. If inFamous 2 isn't SUBSTANTIALLY better than the first one in every conceivable regard, then a 7.5 is probably generous.

There is nothing funnier to me than people who think their personal taste determine the quality of something.

The quality of entertainment is 100% subjective, so you must spend a lot of time laughing.

All I'm saying is the story and morality system is only half the game. The demo gives you a fairly good idea on what you'll be doing in the whole game. Yeah you won't get an idea of what the stories about from the demo and you won't see any karma choices until retail version but everything else the demo gives you a fairly good taste of.

As for the reviewers whole movement controll hasn't changed from the first game comment he made. When PSN was down I did a run through of Infamous 1 on both Karma sides and booted up the Infamous beta in between to see what I could create. You can tell straight away how improved the movement is and not just by a bit, by a lot.

He also complained about the black and white screen the game switches to when your in need of health. The first game had that too (you know that game he gave a 9/10) and its there as a warning to the player that you need health and you get health from sucking electricity out of the thousands of power points around the city. When you do that the screen goes back to normal. It literally takes me 10 seconds to replenish. Screen goes black and white telling me I'm in danger, I duck and roll by pressing the circle button to a place thats out of enemy fire and I hold R2 near an outside light or generator, Black screen goes away. Very simple and it works.

Also the power he is talking about that you get near the end for navigation is the power shown in one of the trailers where you fly through the air like a bird and its unlocked towards the end of the game because if you had it earlier on you could get to places only intented for the last parts of the game like accross the swamp parts.

Lets face it many of this reviewers cons are not cons at all and have undertanding to them. I still can't believe he says the games pacing is bad and his reason for it was in Infamous 1 you had a routine. Go into a sewers get a new power rinse and repeat. That was the main issue reviewers had with the first game. That the game was too repetitive. So what now they want that repetitiveness back.

As for your last 2 paragraphs. I've no problems with the camera at all. I think its improved drasticly from the first game which had camera issues of its own. I know some people have issues with the camera but are they really that game breaking and so bad that it drops the games score down?? The melle camera zooms in when attacking but it zooms straight back out 1 second later when your not attacking.

In the demo your power gauge doesn't deplete and it regenerates. Thats why you could spam away with rockets and kill enemies easily. In the retail game this won't be a problem. If the first game is anything to go by rockets take up 4 or 5 power segments so you won't be able to spam rockets and the iconic powers don't regenerate either like in the demo. Enemies drop purple orbs for iconic powers and you can only carry 3 at a time.

I just have one question... Have you played inF2 yet?

Alright guys im back, lets just say, that guy wont be doing anymore reviews ;]

........but seriously ill wait till i play the game for myself before coming to the conclusion that this guy is retarded. Either way it is technically an "odd" score because its quite far from the meta score.

And yes, I would drop points for the camera. It's a flaw and that's what flaws due...

Well the story and morality is only half the game. Just like the story is only half of every other game thats out there. Gameplay and environments make up the other half of a game and Infamous 2 is sold in that department.

There is a developer video where they talk about the powers Cole will get in the game and they mentioned the Ice jump power and the firebird power. They also explain how you'll only get the Ice jump power if you take the good path and how you'll get the firebird power if you take the bad path. They also explain how those powers will get you to new areas later on in the game. I assume the Ice jump power and firebird power are the powers the reviewer is talking about because the ice jump power propels you high into the air where you can then static thrust even further and the firebird propels you forward in a flying motion across great distances.

Did you read his reasons for the game having bad pacing?

Sucker punch already confirmed in there forums that the retail version will not have regenerating power. Come back when you finally get your hands on the game and pull me on all those points you bolded in my reply.

Wait... So he reviewed it, and gave it a 3/4. Basically, above average but below perfect. A good game.

He's such a meany!

Again you're assuming too much and speaking as if you've got a full grip on the entire game.

I pointed out already that i'm saving judgement until i fully play the thing. Excuse me if i'm not going to auto assume a game is good just because of a demo and beta, like some others do... If you're to pull so much from the demo than you can't blame someone for complaining about how easy it is to spam in the game after playing the demo on hard.  You've been pointing out this entire time that the demo and beta are decent representations of the entire game and now you point out how the developer says other wise?

I'm done with this conversation.
