I'll put money on gears get 9s and 10s all over the board and from what I've seen of that game so far they will be rightly deserved however I guarantee Uncharted 3 will fail to score what its predecessor did and it will be open to major criticism.

That is pretty much a given. No matter how many enemies on screen, how black the screen goes, MW3 will get higher than 8.5/10. The reviewers will twist their tastes to match the new CoD.
