I was a bit annoyed by the fact that you had to do a stranger's quest to get the final ending, but that was kind of the point of RDR, to immerse yourself in the world, and that game managed in a way no other has, and I still drift off and think of playing RDR...

That's one way to look at it I guess, lol. But now there's no real meaning to my red dead redemption save file. Really no meaning to the game.

I was hoping to have some more nice quests with the wife and the child telling more about his past life but that's not happening.

i was a bit disipointed because i thought the ending was when you kill dutch too and i expected a super epic standoff like this

Yeah the whole game had some f-ed up moments. Remember the Abraham Reyes guy treating Luisa like some form of a unimportant "wh*re", he was as twisted as allende lol.

The game really relies on f-ed up moments and the ending is the same. I think if the wife and the child could have escaped.....he could have escaped too, no?

Also, Jack was never the man with guns, in 2 years there's no way he learned the dead eye and everything, there's no way he can be as good as his father in 2 years.

yeah I was pissed at that as well, here's luisa struggling to provide a safe life to her family and thinking she found the man of her dreams and bam!!! you walk in and he's screwing another chick. I was like you're luckily you saved my ass that one time in the fort(villa...or whatever it was)

now all this talk makes me want to start a new game!!!

Yeah, I lied... I actually dont' have this game, but one day  I will play this game, just to see the crap ending you are talking about. I didn't read this thread, so I won't know what it is till then. That's if I have time left to play till December 2012

The game's cool and its great you didn't read the thread. You may like the ending but if you don't I am sure you will somewhat like the game.
