After EMEAA and Japan came together 39K, I'de think Wii would be more than 11K in America's so I just up it a bit.

Well, I can predict where something will be after 2/3rds of the needed data have been released

I think above 160k seems reasonable. Depends on how much of an effect it had in the UK, because the rest of Europe only got the cut today. Americas was last week, so that's fine.


Will be most effective near christmas though since the price cut in 2009 was very effective sicn it was made in November.

Anecdotal is anecdotal.  Completely opposite in my area (the 3 stores I was in).  Plenty of Wiis to go around.

 

The price cut will have an affect no doubt, but I don't expect Wii numbers next week to be much above 200k, with 175k the next week and back down to sub 100k in about 1-2 months.  Just my predictions :)

i dont expect a big jump in wii hardware, im not even sure it will beat the ps3(if around 120k ww). the price dropped weeks before to 99GBP and you can still buy the wii for 99GBP on amazon. and the official cut is to 129GBP.

Brink amazing sales considering the bad (and very unfair) reviews. I hope it's not a tracking error.

I hope the price cut doesn't lift Wii too much. It's time for that console to die plus I want the X360 to catch up. Hopefully it will force Nintendo to release Zelda Swords for Café and a version without motion-controls.

i am amazed that the ps3 is still on top even after the psn outage!! 3ds sales are worrying.
