And yes, it REALLY is out of stock. I saw two people ask at my local GS for one and they were both turned away due to no stock. It reminded me of good old '08 and '09.

Anecdotal is anecdotal.  Completely opposite in my area (the 3 stores I was in).  Plenty of Wiis to go around.

 

The price cut will have an affect no doubt, but I don't expect Wii numbers next week to be much above 200k, with 175k the next week and back down to sub 100k in about 1-2 months.  Just my predictions :)
