Forums - Sony - PS3 users are you thinking of switching to a Xbox 360?

SONY ONLY

idk who those 20% are most likley multi only gamers unable to play recent hit games like Crysis CODBO Homefront lets face it thats where the majority of the play time comes from those games its there MP

the PSN deal wouldnt be the reason for me though, the damn service has been free so they can take it off for a month if they wanted too, the amount of hrs that ive used it for more than makes up for it, plus i like uncharted's MP experience and i dont think anything on the PC Wii or 360 has that

things like Forza's american centric car list and inclusion of a 1/4mile, M rated games like gears, comfort and more durable controller,  and the ability to install games on the HDD would

if i was about 10 yrs younger id probably have both but i just dont have the desire for games or time to juggle two consoles

I'm glad to already own both but, this incident and a few other personnal annoying factors about psn. Has made me want to switch to playing all online games bought for my 360. Plus, the expensive wireless component I bought for the 360 gets a stronger signal than the buit in ps3 version. So I want it faster.

Still seems like a waste of time if you already invested tons of money in another system.

NO...NO...NO....

I've said it once and I'll say it again, the day Sony leaves the gaming industry is the day I stop buying games.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

I am! Oh wait I already own a 360 and even with PSN being down I haven't turned it on

Eh all I can say is if I only owned a PS3 I'd probably be pissed, but I can play online with my Wii and PC so I really don't need the PSN unless it's a PS3/360 exclusive and I'm trying to get trophies (all of two games I try to do that in) though I feel sorry for those that really do play nothing but PS3/try to get trophies cause this past week has been pretty awful, combine it with the fact that the PS3 doesn't have many local multiplayer games and most singleplayer experiences this gen have been watered down... being a single console owner has been pretty much impossible this gen.

Wii doesn't have all the hyped games that are on PS3 an 360, 360 has reliability issues or you don't have the cash/don't want to shell out the cash for online/wireless adapters (in my case both) to play online, so then you have PS3 which has free online but at the start of the gen multiplatform games ran worse and there weren't as many exclusives, now all that's there and no one has online when three big games came out for Sony, Portal 2 being shown off with Steamworks, Mortal Kombat with exclusive content, and Socom, all of which have big online sections.

I hope PSN is up soon I really want to get back to my Portal 2 trophies (since PS3 is where all my achievements are I really don't want to do it all over again on PC, if PSN would go back online they'd just automatically update on my PC)

Sold my 360 a year ago because it lacked exclusives I wanted, so selling the console I kept  (Due to having the exclusives I wanted) only to buy the console I didn't want anymore would just be asanine on my part.

I got a new debit card and from now on I may end up just using PSN cards.

Plus I tend to be a single player type gamer anyways, so even though PSN is down I am perfectly fine. Netflix still works.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

I have all 3 current gen system. I still prefer PS3 over the other two. PS3 just offer me more variety of games to play. My X360 is getting very little playing time, lack of exclusives games and I'm not a fan of FPS. As for the Wii... It's collecting dust at the moment.

I sold my 360 again. The money was getting tight with my college bills. I used the money to preorder for the top 4 titles of the year (Uncharted 3, InFamous 2, Batman Arkham City and Mass Effect 3). This obviously lets you know which I prefer. A game system should only be valuable based on the games coming to it. Sony better cover the other end by regaining my personal information. Everything else, I can buy with my own cash.

I started using the PSN cards. Makes life much easier.

The majority of PS3 owners won't switch for the same reason the majority of 360 owners didn't switch with RROD.  They want the games and they'll forgive and forget to get them.

I mean some people for sure will switch, but not many I'm sure.  Same way some people probably gave up on 360 during the RROD days but not enough to notice.
