Wii should have outsold PS2, but obviously it has no chance now. That's what happens when you only have 1 audience expanding game in 3 years. At least if you have no third party momentum.

Nope, it won't have the massive backend ps2 had. 

no console ever will atlease for sometime.

Wii had the chops to pull it off but i expect Wii to only have 2-3 yrs of life left cause of Wii2.

It's kind of unfair to criticize those who thought it would, though. It's like making fun of those who thought the PS3 would top 200m before this generation started - it seemed like the most likely scenario at the time and anybody who didn't believe it would was very likely to be a hater.

Aren't the wii sales already dead. Wii 2 would make it worse than PSP sales at the moment. Wow who would have thought this 3 years ago when Wii was dominating 

Where is John Lucas! I remember he predicted MGS 4 would be cancelled like 2 months before release because the PS3 and 360 would be utterly destroyed by the Wii

Not unless they continue to sell it. Which I doubt they will. Sony will pass the Wii up in sales with the PS3. I would bet Sony keeps selling PS3s well after the PS4 launches just like they have done in the past.
