Getting 3D without glasses on my TV... Without needing a glassesless 3D TV?
No matter how it's done, it sounds interesting to me.

Yes in fact Iwata said that they experimented with 3D screen in the gamcube.
Iwata revealed that Nintendo’s 2001 console was capable of displaying 3D images if attached to a special LCD screen, and it even had a functional three-dimensional version of launch title Luigi’s Mansion. However the prohibitive cost of the screens at the time led the firm to decide there was no market for the technology at the time.

now now, lets think for a second..
If the controller itself has a reported 5" hd screen and cameras, then maybe the player is supposed to hold the screen, (controller) in front of them so that it obscures the tv from the viewer. the cameras on the controller could read images back and forth and create the illusion of shapes, characters, objects protruding from the tv all the way to the players hands.
The screen in the contoller would act as a viewing window into another dimension.
This is possible.

Skip to 3:00. Wii can already do 3d on normal TVs. You swap the wiimote and the sensor bar around. Some rumours have suggested the controller can act as a sensor bar. Combine that with a camera on the TV. It's like the opposite of the 3DS 'sweet spot'.
