the reason why most 3rd party software don't sell on the Wii is because they are either half-assed ports, or quick cash-in attempts at the success of the Wii.

Take a look at Capcom, they invested on the Wii and got huge profits from it.

Microsoft (more or less) was heavily responsible for starting the Wii60 concept when they believed that the Wii was no real threat to them; being that the Wii is now pulling development away from the XBox 360 Microsoft is worried and a little bitter and it shows.

I'm sure many developers would agree with MS. Sadly

I haven't seen anything in the way of 360 development dollars shifting Wii's way. Only PS3 cash. Sadly it seems every last 3rd party believes the old myths that MS likes to keep alive. Despite all the evidence (modicum of effort + money + sensible marketing = success on Nintendo platforms).

And no, Capcom did not spend a lot for their returns.

The statement isn't exactly untrue though.

If any developers buy into Microsoft's bullshit then they deserve to go out of business. Nintendo realized that game play quality is way more important than graphics and they are undeniably the most successful software publishers in the world. Maybe the others should imitate Nintendo.

Pathetic, shouldn't they be talking less about the Wii and coming out with more games that look flashy but play like total crap (Bioshock, Gears, Saint's, etc...).
