Assuming the PS3 from now on will outsell the 360, by 50 000 consoles weekly. It will take 140 weeks for the PS3 to catch up to the 360. Pigs fly lol. I hope 360 drops their price again that could maintain or even widen the gap over PS3.

Price drops of 2008: Sony introduces a new SKU @ $500 160GB model in Q2. Microsoft only bundles GTA4 @ $350 20GB model. Nintendo doesn't change anything for now. Q4 Sony and Microsoft drop there prices by $50. Nintendo might drop $20, probably not.
Sales of 2008: Nintendo makes 21,6mln a year. 1mln @ (Nintendo) + 1mln @ retail. End of 2008 19,6mln Wii. Blu ray will be the winner in the format war. This, more games and a small price drop makes the PS3 an interesting choice for Americans. End of 2008: 12mln PS3 and 8mln 360. PS3/360 = Wii

I will start at the beginning of the thread and move forward. Also, I will not post things like "price drop in June" type things, just 2008 totals and year end totals, because there would be too many different things to collect. Maybe in another post, if anything.
