100 hours alone was my first playthrough!

Then I lost my save file when my 60gb died.  Once I got it back, I then ran through the game again.  Then NG Plus.  And now I'm sitting at the final boss of NG PlusPlus.  Pesky plus signs.

Plus I sunk a few hours into the NA version (though I never beat it).

Lol, you have the Asian copy? I took my time and only got BP Edition last year.

Fuck yeah!  Got it around May 2009.  Spent my entire Summer on that first playthrough, then in July my ps3 went bust.

Did it all over again that holiday season.  Then again.  And again last summer.

And I'm still only at 44% trophies.  >_>

1. Skyrim (really it's by far the biggest favorite and it's a lock for Spike's GOTY)

10. La Noire

Note: Last Guardian or Zelda most likely wont come out this year

lol I was one of the first here to get a copy, but...

I get bored of most games after one playthrough. Demon's Souls was exciting to play through the first time because you never knew what was around the next corner, what the next boss would entail, or what beautiful, yet twisted area you'd encounter next. I made it pretty far in my 2nd playthrough but I just couldn't be bothered to go any further because the sense of awe and despair was gone for me. I have 0 platinum medals in total as I'm not a completionist. 

OT: Dark Souls doesn't have the mass appeal to be GOTY from major sites/magazines.

it could...if Last Guardian,Gears of War 3 and Uncharted 3 wouldnt release this year

even if this 3 games i mentioned would be a little bit inferior to Dark Souls it would rather pick up the GOTY awards just because there are more popular (at least U3 & GoW3)
