Demon's Souls was exciting to play through the first time because you never knew what was around the next corner, what the next boss would entail, or what beautiful, yet twisted area you'd encounter next. I made it pretty far in my 2nd playthrough but I just couldn't be bothered to go any further because the sense of awe and despair was gone for me. I have 0 platinum medals in total as I'm not a completionist. OT: Dark Souls doesn't have the mass appeal to be GOTY from major sites/magazines. |
