Forums - Nintendo - Zelda OOT N64 vs 3DS screens comparison : WOW

They look great. Much better for the eyes than the original.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Sure, it looks a little better technically, with more contrast and brighter colors. But I prefer the N64 look honestly...

I do prefer the original darker colour scheme for the Phantom Ganon battle though, the 3DS ones just look too  bright IMO.

Looks great. Much better improvement from the original than in the Sony HD remakes.

I might buy a 3DS for this game (I never finished OOT, it was so hard).

Definitely a huge improvement; it may look okay to the untrained, eye but everytihng looks much better.

The water in most areas now have realtime reflections

There are actual trees in the background.

The terain looks more refined; rocks and mountains look more rocky-like.

Even the fences like on Lon Lon Ranch look much more detailed.

What impressed me the most was Bazaar's shop. Though he hasn't changed much except for a slight increase in triangle count.

Looks much better IMO.

Can't wait to see how Ganon looks in the final battle...

Some fine looking screenshots, will be nice to go back to Hyrule once again.

Very very nice improvement, but since I haven't even played the original (until Wii I was PC only), this is a no brainer day 1 for me no matter the level of improvement...
