comes out like 30 days after the 3DS does. Your first Zelda? Where have you been? The original OoT was my first Zelda and I've beaten Majora's Mask & Twilight Princess. Never beaten a 2D Zelda but the way people talk about A Link to the Past, I'm gonna have to find a way to beat that very soon.

The game has more and better colours and more detail on a few main objects but overall it does not seem that much better.  I may be uninformed but i thought the 3DS was to be as powerful as the wii?

The original has a much nicer color palette.  Everything in the remake is too bright and yellow.  Link's tunic in particular stands out way too much, at least in the darker areas of the game.

Everything else looks better in the remake though.  Much better textures and polygonal detail.

The first one looks so much better, imo.  When you get up close, the differences in level of detail start to become very  apparent, but I much prefer the art style of the original.

At least as powerful as the wii. But I guess they'd have to start from scratch to do an Ocarina of Time with graphics superior to Twilight Princess and I'm sure they'd want to save that effort for a brand new Zelda. I'm OK with the improvement because it will be in 3D, will have Master Quest and won't look so different that it won't feel like OoT anymore.

Except the remake was a very different game from the original, if I'm not mistaken.

Its a web series. This is season 6. You need to go back and watch some of the other shows to understand why the first 4 and last 2 min are not really a waste of time.

You can forget about them orchestrating the music for this because a). it's a port, and b). they wouldn't allocate that level of resources to a port or a handheld game.

We'll NEVER have a fully orchestrated Zelda game, because Kondo loves interactive music so much.  But, they have been able to make use of great programming techniques to segue between orchestra and MIDI tracks.  So expect a good amount of orchestral tracks in Skyward Sword, but an even greater amount of MIDI tracks.  I feel confident they MIDI pieces will sound convincing after listening to Twilight Princess' score - which made use of great samples.
