Last major event before 3DS is out, so I guess they will focus as much as they can on 3DS. It's a good venue for Nintendo and even more now if they live stream. Gonna be hard for Nintendo to convince people of buying a 3DS only for the 3D since it's impossible to see the effect unless you are in front of the console. Word of mouth and experiences will have to be positive, otherwise I cannot see the console being able to sell due to the 3D. Games on the other hand have to do the trick. Since people won't see 3D in the TV, magazines or the web, the draw will obviously not be the 3D in the ads.

I'm also expecting some more info on Rhythm Heaven Wii as well

I expect :

- a lot of talk about A/R games because this is really a new way to think about creating games for developpers. Perhaps we will even see new demos about how to use it.

- definitely a Zelda Wii Trailer.

- A Xenoblade trailer with a release date in the US for April/May. At least I really hope I will be right about that but I also think it makes a lot of sense to announce a release date now for the first half of the year. This is not a big franchise either so waiting for E3 wouldn't be a good move to help this announcement being noticed.

- They also need to announce a big seller for May/June for the Wii because they don't have any right now. In the past years they had SMG2, WSR, Wii Fit/MK or SSB but this year nothing. So either this game is going to be Zelda and it will be confirmed at the end of the trailer with an announced release date or it will be another game. If it's not Zelda, said to be released after OOT 3D, then it is more likely to be another Wii_ game. Perhaps GDC is the right place to show the Vitality Sensor... Makes sense because using this kind of technology is also another way to create games and this concept seems to be Iwata's idea to begin with.

So, that's 4 hours and 38 minutes before GDC starts.

I'd expect an obvious focus on the 3DS, with more details regarding the eShop for game developers. Like to see some development on the Vitality sensor like some have already pointed out. And some Zelda information thrown in there; be it SkywardSword or a 25th anniversary pack... but not getting my hopes up.

Damn, you're right. I don't know why I thought it would start at 2:00am. Waiting till 3:00 is going to be difficult... I hope it's worth it. 

The 'vision for the future' part sounds interesting. Perhaps a little insight into whatever crazy things Nintendo R&D is cooking up?
