i was watching some john wayne films recently, so i now consider myself an expert on women.  the thing you are doing wrong is that women really love it when you smack them around and force yourself on them.   they will struggle and complain at the start, but thats just how you know they are really into you.  and after you are done, its best to drag them around by their hair, so they know you care about them and you are not just interested in sex.

imo, i think shes always known that you've had feelings for her, but never cared enough about you to treat you the same way you've treated her. this is just a base observation, obviously i could be wrong.

but you have to decide what you want, to be friends and silently bite your tonge everytime you see her, or be honest and scare her away. which is probabily whats happened now.

however from personal experience i've found that girls attitudes change over time. if she says one thing, then in a few months that may change. imo you just have to wait for the perfect moment. and not try too hard, or she can tell straight away.

i think you should appologise and tell her that your strong enough to control your feelings if shes still willing to be friends. and i think in time 'love grows'.

I don't know about this... sure a girls attitudes changes a lot... like the weather... about her clothing, friends, movies, dinner but about loving someone? I don't think so.. the chemistry was always there or it was never there.. it doesn't
magicly appear... sure he can wait for months and months but imo he should move on..

Being friends and close with someone you love who doesn't have the same feelings for you will eat you eventually, just wait for it.
