The saying became more prevalent because bigger names in the site started using it more.  Now everyone keeps saying this crap.  However, it's hard to take someone praising a "win" seriously when it's just as likely to be true as untrue.  I guess it's just too much to ask for people to take the numbers as they are, and stop this "winning" and "tie" nonsense.  At this range they both are stupid.

Yeah thats all I want. The worst is when someone says, "I'll wait for adjustments before accepting my fav console did worse than the other one"...and I have seen a person say this in the last few WW sales up threads.

People say wii is down 124K and that's bad, but the thing is Wii was at 66M this time last year, now it's at 85M, not a really much of an issue it's down that much and it's leveling with PS3 and 360 weekly sales now.

One console did sell more than the other two last week. We just can't say for certain which one it was.

Good numbers. Why do people get annoyed by statistical ties? Its not like the "wii is doomed" posts or anything, its a fact, and would be a fact even if PS3 was the first this week.

Look at last week for example. Statistical tie with PS3 second, and now its statistical tie with PS3 first.

Congrats Demon's Souls, you are great; selling one million on one console without any kind of marketing.
