god I hope the PC version doesn't have ANY elements of the bad company spinoffs especially destruction 2.0

oh and how come no 64 players on ps3??

You're kidding, right?

Destruction was the only good thing those games added.

Who doesn't want to blow up a wall with an RPG or mow down an enemy shelter with a tank?

destruction 1.0 in bad company 1 = awesome

destruction 2.0 in bad company 2 = abosulute shit

what was so bad with Destruction 2.0?

People think that it's the reason why Bad Company 2 has all those bugs, such as connection issues and framerate issues, and also why DICE had to reduce it to 24 player maps and make the maps smaller; D2.0 takes a LOT of bandwidth processing power/RAM, not sure which.

On topic, I canNOT freaking WAIT. I am definitely getting this on my PC, just gotta get another 4 GBs of RAM, and maybe another 5770 as well, and I'll have a nostalgia rush playing this; loved the first BF2, and I know I'm going to love this one.

Prediction:

The game will sell the most on PC.

You made a mistake. Its going to sell most on 360 and PS3.

It will be most stolen and least profitable on PC.

However, expect big sales when its $2 on Steam.

IYou do know that the PC version of Bad Company 2 has more PC players than Xbox 360 and PS3 players combined, right? And BC2 is a "consolized" FPS. Imagine when the real thing comes.

I could believe it, I got it for like $5 on Steam. I wouldn't be surprised if people figured out how to play pirated copies online as well.

Regardless who plays which version most online, safe bet the console versions were most profitable for EA.

Lol that's gonna suck for console players, playing on highly gimped 24 player maps compared to their PC counterparts.

Already pre-ordered the PC version, and I might get the PS3 version to play with friends.

Perfect timing, spec a new pc with the new Sandybridge CPU and a couple of 560GTX (580 if you have the cash)

Excellent news.

Hopefully by the time this releases I'll have nice gaming PC. If not, then I guess I'll have to go with the PS3 version.

Cool but I most likely won't play on these 64 player servers.

Simply too many people. Not fun getting shot from 2 sides or running around a corner and facing 3 enemies. Hasn't much to do with skill.

That didn't happen that much in BF2, have you played BF games before?
