Forums - Nintendo - Amazon UK selling 3DS for £202?!?

Just like I thought, the price in the UK has been able to go bellow the European price.
Has there been any deals like these in mainland Europe?

That's only 12£ more than the Japanese price at today's exchange rate. Quite a good price I guess.

And some of the games are even cheaper than in Japan.

Question regarding Amazon...

I pre-ordered when it was £229. Now it's £202. If they release it at £202 I know that's what I'll pay (lowest price guarantee). However, what if the price goes up again before launch? Do I pay those £229 or the lowest? (£202)
Should I cancel and pre-order again at £202? Don't wanna be behind the queue or something.

In the past when I have pre-ordered stuff it has said that I should be charged whatever the lowest price has been, not launch day price.

But I'm looking at my order now and the price is still £217...

I'm wondering if this is going to be a glitch in the system or something. :/

My order has reduced to £202 now.

Well directly beneath the 3DS image on the page it says

"Special Offers and Product Promotions

  • Pre-order Price Guarantee: order now and if the Amazon.co.uk price decreases between the time you place your order and the release date, you'll be charged the lowest price. Here's how (terms and conditions apply)"

...So I am gonna hold them to that.

Cool.

I would never have said that, it has exclusive Resident Evil games.

Doesn't it have two? Also since you do this with tax already included what is the real price of the product without tax?

Mine too.

I have 2 pre-orders. Amazon and Shopto. If either of them fucks up, I'll be safe. If neither of them fucks up I can either cancel one or get both if I have enough money. Good present.

Roughly £170 without VAT I think.  Just under that.

So basically you guys pay 270 USD it would seem. ( CAD and USD don't do taxes into the price)
