bulletstorm looks like a fresh and nice idea, but epic are making to to cool, trailer was cheesy, same thing with the characters. thats why its probably not going to be AAA, but also its the first game in a long time which only focuses on fun.

I'm quite interested to see how good this is, but I can't play until next weekend.

I'm getting Killzone 3, but I want to get this as well for the Gears beta

Demo was short, but pretty good.

If you know the moves, it will be even better.

I know, but I generally prefer the KZ style of shooters. I will definitely try it out, but I don't like the run and gun style of Halo very much, so I am not convinced that I will love this

I really want to try it, but some jerk decided the demo was better off being exclusive to Gold members. :/

I think there is a free Gold weekend coming up, isn't there?

Bulletstorm has potential to be a really good game I think:

Looks great and has a nice mix of moves and weapons to provide variety and allow for imagination in combos.  The easy moves (VooDoo Doll, Bullet Kick) are fun, but could get old quick - it's the combos where the real fun could be had.  Leash a dude, stick him with the flail gun, then kick him back at a group of baddies and watch him explode...  fun stuff.

Characters in the game don't seem to take themselves too seriously, which makes perfect sense for a game with over-the-top killing sprees/methods.  This game rewards you for pulling off cool shit, and acknowledges it when you do with both on-screen and vocal feedback...People Can Fly seem to have done a good job with this.  I was somewhat interested in this game before and buying it for the Gears 3 beta, but the demo sold me on the game itself.  Really looking forward to the full release now!

Is the demo on PSN ATM? I'd like to try it...
